Pair the 710 ml GRAYL GeoPress with its exact replacement cartridge when you want higher-capacity purification and a sealed spare for long, remote, shared, or high-use trips.

There is currently no dedicated bundle SKU in the 68travel catalog. Add the bottle and cartridge separately:

For short local trips with easy resupply, the spare may be unnecessary. The installed GeoPress cartridge is already rated for up to 350 cycles or 250 litres under suitable conditions.

The bottle product already includes its working cartridge. The separate cartridge is a spare, not a missing component required to make a new bottle function.

One GeoPress cartridge is rated for:

• replacement at about 25 seconds of press time or three years from first use.

A sealed spare effectively gives you another cartridge’s published capacity after installation, but do not add the two figures into an unconditional promise. Sediment, silt, tannins, handling, and storage affect real-world life.

When to open the spare

Keep it sealed until:

• the installed cartridge reaches the press-time threshold;

• three years have passed since the installed cartridge’s first use;

• the installed cartridge is damaged or cannot be used according to instructions.

An unused airtight cartridge has a published shelf life of up to ten years when stored correctly.

Standard GeoPress or GeoPress Ti?

The spare cartridge fits both.

• Choose the standard GeoPress for a lighter, simpler 450 g setup.

• Choose GeoPress Ti when the 570 g titanium outer cup’s heating and cooking utility is worth it.

Both treat 710 ml per cycle and use the 350-cycle GeoPress cartridge family.

Sources and limitations

A second cartridge adds continuity, not a wider treatment scope. GeoPress does not desalinate salt or brackish water and is not designed for industrial spills, extreme chemical contamination, nuclear incidents, or toxic blue-green algae.
