Colour Options
Classic multicolour in English language is the standard edition. When you purchase other wooden accessories like the Monuments and Landmarks or remote islands extension pack with the World map, they will be stained the same. All non-English language maps in non-standard colour combinations are a custom orders that may take an extra few days to ship out.
Please note that our maps are manufactured from natural materials which are not perfect and the wood texture reacts to staining distinctly. Since the maps are hand-made that is what we actually love about them. Thus, the real-world colours of our maps may be different from what you see in online photos (phone and monitor screens also display colours differently).

How to Mount the Map on a Wall?
The installation itself is a nice trip around the World :)
Each map comes with simple instructions for an easy set-up. Glue or double-sided adhesive tape (tape included in the package) can be used to mount the map. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.
The map consist of larger wooden panels: North America, South America, Europe and Asia (separate panels in the MEGA edition), Africa, Australia, Greenland and various smaller islands. Explorer edition also includes a Monuments and Attractions panel. Adventurer edition also includes a single layer Antarctica panel. It works as a precision-cut puzzle. Installation is very easy and takes about 2 hours.
- The 2 largest panels (Europe + Asia and North America) have got hanging nooks on the back side. Glue (construction adhesive type) or wall hooks / screws can be used in order to hang these larger panels. Positions of wall mounting points are highlighted in the included mounting instructions. Strong double-sided tape (included in the package) can also be used to non-permanently attach these panels to the wall. Included templates are used to position these panels correctly.
- The other wood panels, islands and other smaller pieces are lighter and an adhesive glue (i.e. a construction adhesive) or double sided-tape (thicker foam accrylic tape recommended) is used to attach these pieces to the wall.

Delivery Instructions
Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.

I have to say that I first saw the map at a travel fair and immediately fell in love with it. Perfect product. I immediately ordered it, painted the backing and looked forward to gluing it together. Again, well done templates for first anchoring the dimensions of the map. We were more enthusiastic with each piece, after gluing all the islands, maximum satisfaction. Truly beautiful.
Musím říct, že poprvé jsem mapu viděl na cestovatelksém veletrhu a okamžitě jsem se do ní zamiloval. Dokonalý produkt. Ihned jsem ji objednal, vymaloval podklad a těšil se na lepení. Opět, skvěle zvládnuté šablony pro první ukotvení rozměrů mapy. S každým dalším dílem jsme byli nadšenější, po nalepení všech ostrovů maximální spokojenost. Opravdu nádhera.

It's strange to see "ÉUA" written. This is not used at all in France.
Time-consuming to set up. There are 2 cardboard elements used to place the borders. You'd also need some to place the islands or to have a poster to scale.

The card is of good quality. I love the different thicknesses and colours of wood. In addition to the leaflet, I used a local map of the different countries and islands on a computer to give me a more precise idea of their orientation. I can't wait to show it to all my guests!

I have absolutely no regrets about buying this wooden world map. It looks great.
It takes about 2/3 hours to assemble because you have to get it right. The most time-consuming part was positioning the islands.
It looks great on our wall above the TV and I took the option of flags to indicate the countries we've already been to.
Je ne regrette absolument pas l'achat de cette carte mondiale en bois. Le rendu est terrible.
Pour le montage il faut bien compter 2/3 h car il ne faut pas se louper et faire les choses bien. Le plus long ce sont le positionnement des iles.
Cela habille surper bien notre mur au dessus de la télé et j'ai pris l'option des drapeaux pour indiquer les pays où nous sommes déjà allé.

With the exception of the "Greenland" component, all parts of the world map were flawless. You have to be very careful when unpacking and pressing out of the templates.
Unfortunately, "Greenland" is very bent and not flat and even like the other components.
Bis auf ein Bauteil "Grönland" waren alle Teile der Weltkarte einwandfrei. Beim auspacken und herausdrücken aus den Schablonen muss man sehr vorsichtig vorgehen.
Leider ist "Grönland" sehr stark verbogen und nicht wie die anderen Bauteile flach und eben.

Beautifully drawn map. Excellent addition to the interior. Gluing is quite easy, I recommend mammoth. Great fun when gluing to keep everything in place and oriented as it should be.

Wouav, on opening the packaging, for the quality of the laser cut-outs and the French version of the lettering. The different shades of the Classic colour are well chosen and arranged to bring out the different countries.
I made a frame out of laminate and glued the different continents, islands and the panel of monuments and tourist attractions with wood glue.
And wouav for the result in our living room.

As expected, it sits proudly above the sofa! However, for the price we paid, it's a bit of a shame to read that it's preferable to buy glue in addition to double-sided tape. It would be much more commercial of you to supply it.

Very good material, vivid colours, just a note on the incorrect Italian translation of some countries (Melasia instead of Malaysia, Teritori, Circondatorio). About 10 hours of work for a complete, and as geographically precise as possible, installation by two people. A truly original piece of furniture. Kudos to the creators for the idea and realisation of the work. Higher price than many mass-produced industrial products, but once the map is on the wall, the expense is amply justified by the great visual impact.

Excellent product! Having the walls in normal sandblasted whitewash, the double-sided tape is not suitable and for the larger parts I used very fine tacks and for the islands a drop of silicone! Highly recommended .

The world map is an eye-catcher and the 3D effect is really great, but I would improve the small islands it would be great if they were already prepared for gluing (double-sided adhesive tape already cut to the same dimensions of the islands and glued on so that you only have to peel off the foil) In addition, it would be great if the letters for the ocean designations were more stable. The map on the wall looks very nice, and the islands aren't glued in yet. I originally wanted to hang it on screws and glue it lightly, but it is very difficult to drill the screws to make the map sit straight, so I abandoned it. With the way the map is raised in places, I would have welcomed the ability to measure the screws, hang them and cover the screw with some state to glue onto the map.
Mapa na stěně vypadá moc pěkně, a to tam ještě nejsou dolepené ostrovy. Chtěl jsem ji původně pověsit na šroubky a lehce přilepit, ale navrtání šroubků je velice složité, aby mapa vysela rovně, tak jsem od toho upustil. Tím jak je mapa místy vystouplá, uvítal bych možnost naměřit šroubky, pověsit a šroubek zakrýt nějakým státem, který bych na mapu přilepil.

Hello, the additional islands are not practical to use, and it would be a good idea to use a self-adhesive label like the wooden flags. Not including the names of the oceans for a purchase of over 300€ for the 150 format seems excessive to me.

3D XL Explorer Card Classic: beautiful card. Top workmanship. Additional islands also top. Looks great on the wall. We stuck the map to an acrylic disc with transparent mounting adhesive and then attached it to the wall. Holds! Fast delivery, well packed, real wood, simply top quality! Countries all where they should be. Assembly a little tricky. Slightly larger assembly instructions (map with cm distances between continents would be great) but with a tape measure for the latitudes and longitudes on the instructions and an old school atlas next to it, it also works. Mounting on the wall requires 3 people as the real wood is quite heavy. Conclusion: worth every euro and would be happy to do it again!

Anbringen an der Wand braucht 3 Leute da Echtholz einiges an Gewicht mitbringt. Fazit: jeden Euro wert und gerne wieder!

Ordering maps on the web intuitive and easy! Even though it was a hectic pre-Christmas period, the shipment arrived really quickly and we were able to put the map under the tree on Christmas Eve. ;) The map was packed carefully and securely, so everything was fine and without damage. In the end, I have to say that this wooden map far exceeded my already high expectations and we are all really happy about it here at home! It's a great wall decoration that makes one of the biggest highlights in our living room! I sincerely and highly recommend it to all enthusiasts and travelers especially! The feeling I get when I look at the map and remember all the adventures I've had on my travels is priceless! (Just a small detail, the Cook Islands and French Polynesia are already in a different time zone, so it might be better to show/paste them on the left instead of the right on the map.)

Přestože bylo hektické předvánoční období, zásilka dorazila opravdu rychle, a tak jsme si mapu stihli dát na Štědrý večer i pod stromeček. ;) Mapa byla zabalena pečlivě a bezpečně, takže vše bylo v pořádku a bez poškození. Nakonec musím říct, že tato dřevěná mapa vysoko předčila má již tak vysoká očekávání a opravdu z ní máme tady doma všichni velikou radost! Je to skvělá dekorace na zeď, která tvoří jeden z největších highlightů v našem obýváku! Upřímně a vřele doporučuji všem nadšencům a cestovatelům obzvlášť! Ten pocit, když se na mapu dívám a vzpomínám na všechna ta dobrodružství, která jsem na cestách zažil, je k nezaplacení! (Jen malá drobnost, Cookovy ostrovy a Francouzská Polynesie jsou již v jiném časovém pásmu, a tak by bylo možná lepší zobrazovat/lepit je na mapě vlevo namísto vpravo.)

A really nice map, and looks exactly as shown in the pictures on the website. Easy to install with the included tape although you need a bit of patience and/or someone with long nails to remove the backing of the double sided tape! We installed the big continents on the evening it was delivered and saved the fiddly islands for the next day. Everyone who has seen it has commented on it as being a really nice feature of the room. Hopefully this will improve our geography a bit more!

The world map is even more beautiful than you can see on the Internet. It is really precisely crafted and everything is very high quality. At first I was worried about investing so much money but my expectations of the product were absolutely exceeded.

The product is really great, the colours are beautiful and the cut is precise.
You have to bear in mind that it's a decorative element and that the proportions aren't always respected.
That said, the map is great fun for my children, who spend a lot of time moving planes and boats from one country to another. Which is why I haven't glued them yet ;-)
You absolutely must take the time to place the markers correctly from the outset to avoid a crooked pose. It's possible to peel them off, but at the risk of damaging the piece.
I used adhesive tape, a laser, glue and a lot of patience ;-) .
It takes a long time to assemble, but it's clearly worth it!
The double-sided tape provided is fine, but it's too big for the smaller pieces. So it's best to use a suitable glue instead of the tape.
Based on certain comments, I preferred to add fix-all to the larger pieces and everything held together perfectly.
The additional islands add a real plus to the card but are difficult to position, especially as the proportions are not respected.
The panel with the monuments is just magnificent!

The map is really beautiful. I recommend it to everyone!!! But if you have space, I recommend a width of at least 200 cm. Gluing those tiny islands is a bit of hell, plus the pins you buy don't always stick to them. Also, the pins have a problem with small states next to each other.
So I'd recommend a deuce to calm you down when placing the islands, it's fun and a refresher on geography, but not for the nervous :-)
Mapa je opravdu krásná. Všem doporučuji!!! Ale pokud máte prostor, doporučuji šířku minimálně 200 cm. Lepit ty malinkaté ostrůvky je trošku peklo a navíc na ně zakoupené špendlíky nejdou vždy zapichovat. Dále mají špendlíky problém s malými státy vedle sebe.
Takže bych doporučila dát si dvojku na uklidnění při rozmisťování ostrůvků, je to zábava a osvěžení zeměpisu, ale ne pro nerváky :-)

The overall picture just looks great .
There are two or three points that need to be addressed ,
but that doesn't change my rating of five stars .
1. Please revise your sizing of the cards.
I bought the XL traveller version.
Size specification: 200 x 100 cm
I did not stick the map directly to the wall
glued to the wall . I glued the whole thing onto a transparent
Polycarbonate sheet . ( 205 x 105 cm )
This space is definitely not enough in height .
Greenland sits at least 2 cm too deep for me and
Tierra del Fuego also protrudes over the edge .
2. I would have liked a slightly larger version of the world
larger version of the world map. Also a
a finer grid would be very helpful when attaching it.
Especially with small islands it is not easy ,
to find the exact position .
3. There is an error in the numbering on the wooden
Wooden templates . Japan is described in the description with
number 44 in the description but on the template it is

XL Adventurer world map.
Beautiful! After some research on the net I dispelled my doubts and bought directly from the 68travel website. They replied to emails within a few hours, the order was produced and shipped within a few days and arrived by GLS courier. Very nice looking map!
Mounting it on the wall respecting alignments and distances is not entirely trivial, but with a little patience you get a really nice result!
The only note, detaching the insulators from their dies must be done with a bit of care because they can be damaged.

The card is awesome... looks really good. However, the adhesive tape is not enough for the XXL card. Buy at least one extra roll. I applied it exactly as shown in the instructions. It was no longer enough for the islands. Even worse: After one day, North America, Eurasia, Africa and Australia fell off - fortunately onto the sofa... Only Alska got something... Still absolutely annoying... 😕
Die Karte ist der Hammer... sieht echt gut aus. Das Klebeband reicht allerdings fur die XXL Karte nicht aus. Kauft euch mindestens eine Extra Rolle. Ich hatte es genau wie auf der Anleitung angebracht. Für die Inseln hat es schon nicht mehr gereicht. Noch schlimmer: Nach einem Tag sind Nordamerika, Eurasien, Afrika und Australien runtergefallen - zum Glück auf's Sofa gefallen Nur Alska hat was abbekommen... Dennoch absolut ärgerlich... 😕

I think the quality is great. It's for decoration! You have to take your time and use Google Maps to align it. A completely relaxed Saturday is enough. Sometimes 2 people are useful and recommended. I'm a handyman, but I was able to do it on my own with tools. I can only recommend it. Many thanks and continued success. Keep up your quality. PS: The instructions don't quite fit to scale, but it works in parallel with Google Maps

- The width/height indicated on the paper is not very clear. Depending on if you have purchased the XL Traveler, it is written 200 but also 203? Could be improved by providing a generic diagram (x,y) and providing a table of measurements instead
- It should be made clear that the world map provided on paper is a very different projection than that of Google maps. For best results, it is recommended to use Google maps on your laptop and if possible project it onto your wall for setting it up
- Not clear why having Antarctica would cost disproportionately more, so we did not buy it
- Would it be possible to make a semi transparent tissue-paper grid with lines and measurements the same size as the entire rectangle that can be used as an aid for putting the map together?
- Make lettering in wood for the 7 seas, would be nicer than the compass or airplanes provided that seem a bit tacky in my opinion :P

Some countries are difficult to distinguish (e.g. Bolivia and Paraguay or Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan). The assembly of the islands in particular is very complicated and the instructions are not very helpful. Apart from that, I like the material and the look very much.

Wonderful, seriously, I'm speechless! It took a little bit much more time as was written in the instructions but the result is great! The colors are wonderful and the 3D effect is gorgeous. The package took 4 working day to come in Italy, so I couldn't wait for it! 😍 The result is fantastic, and the flag tags on the countries are so beautiful!

High-quality wooden parts. Thanks to the marked fixing points and the good instructions, placing the individual components and islands was almost child's play. Because of the many small parts and our textured plaster surface, we attached the parts with assembly glue instead of the double-sided adhesive tape supplied. The assembly was fun and the world map looks classy.
Hochwertig verarbeitete Holzteile. Dank den markierten Befestigungspunkte und der guten Anleitung war das platzieren der einzelnen Kontigenten und Inseln fast ein Kinderspiel. Wegen der vielen Kleinteilen und unserem Struckturputz als Untergrund haben wir die Teile mit Montageleim anstatt mit dem beigelegtem doppelseitigen Klebeband befestigt. Das Montieren hat Spass gemacht und die Weltkarte sieht edel aus.

A beautiful product that unfortunately doesn't last long on the wall with the adhesive tape supplied, although this is supposed to be better. It has already fallen off the wall 3 times (all parts except for the small islands) and unfortunately parts have broken off as a result. I have now drilled into it - which I didn't want to do :/

i chose this product from about 20 manufacturers and decided in favour of 68travel because of the details and quality. It is a birthday present for my husband, he is from the Philippines! That's why I made sure that the Philippines are depicted with all 4 major island groups, as one of the few manufacturers. Both on the homepage and in the instructions 4 island groups are shown.
The bigger the realisation that the largest northern island group of the Philippines (Luzon) was missing. (see picture).
This casts a big shadow on my gift, a pity :-( because otherwise this is a super great product.
P.S. Maybe they can send me the island of Luzon...?

If I had to find something to criticise, I would like the assembly instructions to be a little more detailed, especially for the more distant continents and islands. Positioning Australia correctly to scale was a bit of a challenge. But with a little diligence, the world map on the net and a bit of comparing back and forth, it worked out quite well in the end. All in all, it took me about 4 hours to put the thing up, but I did it bit by bit with my junior.
I contacted the shop by phone and asked if they had any tricks or tips for positioning the islands exactly. Unfortunately there is nothing, but the contact was very friendly and was also able to explain why it is difficult to reflect this better on paper. A mobile phone app is planned for 2021, which will help with positioning using the camera.
One small panel has a small irregularity in the colour. This will be sent to me again free of charge.
In conclusion: Perfect!

Great quality! Super successful details (the individual parts, the writing, the lines,...) - couldn't be better! It was a huge parcel, but packed absolutely securely and nothing could wobble back and forth. I took the precaution of securing the continents with small nails, because their size makes them a bit too heavy to just stick to adhesive dots (at least on my woodchip wallpaper). The labelling (burnt in) makes them smell a little at first, but that went away after 2 days (I was still able to sleep in the room without any problems)
Tolle Qualität! Super gelungene Details (die einzelnen Teile, die Schrift, die Linien,...) - könnte nicht besser sein! Es war ein riesiges Paket, aber dadurch absolut sicher verpackt und nichts konnte hin und her wackeln. Ich habe die Kontinente vorsichtshalber mit kleinen Nägeln gesichert, denn durch ihre Größe sind sie doch etwas zu schwer, um sie nur an Klebepunkten zu befestigen (zumindest auf meiner Raufasertapete). Durch die Beschriftung (reingebrannt) riechen sie erst etwas, das ist bei mir aber nach 2 Tagen verflogen (ich konnte trotzdem problemlos in dem Raum schlafen)

The world map itself is beautifully finished. I am delighted with it. I didn't stick the map directly on the wall, I put it on a light-coloured birch wood panel and backlit it with LED tape.

The map is very beautiful. The assembly time of 1 hour is a very optimistic estimate. It took us about 2-3 hours. Possibly more instructions on how to apply Australia and the surrounding island groups would be great. The adhesive tape supplied sticks well, but as we had to remove Australia once, we also used it to remove our wall paint.

When the parcel arrived, I naturally opened it straight away. I am absolutely thrilled with the product. However, the wall will first be decorated with a concrete technique before the world map finds its place there.

The map is great, the processing absolutely matches our ideas obtained from the photos on the web. As the only, but huge shortcoming we perceive the way the map is (not) ready to be mounted on the wall. The holes for hanging are only on the Eurasia and North America parts. The other parts are designed to be glued, which is very impractical in terms of its eventual relocation or redecoration. We solved this by gluing pieces of wood with hooks to each piece. This way the map is slightly offset from the wall, which ends up being very flattering. The plan for the placement of the handles is very handy (but again, only for the two largest pieces). It would have been great if the otherwise meticulous refinement had thought of the other parts as well, so that attaching the map to the wall didn't become an all-day project for a fairly handy handyman.
Mapa je skvělá, zpracování naprosto odpovídá našim představám získaným z fotografií na webu. Jako jediný, ale obrovský nedostatek vnímáme způsob, jakým je mapa (ne)připravená k uchycení na zeď. Otvory k zavěšení jsou pouze na dílech Euroasie a Severní Ameriky. Ostatní díly jsou určeny k přilepení, což je velmi nepraktické z pohledu jejího případného přemístění nebo výmalby. My to vyřešili podlepením jednotlivých dílů kousky dřeva s háčky. Mapa je tak mírně odsazená od zdi, což ji nakonec velmi lichotí. Plánek pro umístění úchytů je velmi praktický (opět však pouze pro dva největší díly). Skvělé by bylo, kdyby jinak precizní propracování myslelo i na další díly a uchycení mapy na zeď se tak nestalo celodenním projektem pro celkem šikovného kutila.

The wooden world map largely corresponds to my expectations.
Only the engraving on some countries is a little to very faint. (see picture)

Die Holzweltkarte entspricht weitestgehend meinen Vorstellung.
Nur bei einigen Ländern ist die Gravur etwas bis sehr schwach. (s. Bild)
