Classic multicolour in English language is the standard edition. When you purchase other wooden accessories like the Monuments and Landmarks or remote islands extension pack with the World map, they will be stained the same. All non-English language maps in non-standard colour combinations are a custom orders that may take an extra few days to ship out.
Please note that our maps are manufactured from natural materials which are not perfect and the wood texture reacts to staining distinctly. Since the maps are hand-made that is what we actually love about them. Thus, the real-world colours of our maps may be different from what you see in online photos (phone and monitor screens also display colours differently).

How to Mount the Map on a Wall?
The installation itself is a nice trip around the World :)
Each map comes with simple instructions for an easy set-up. Glue or double-sided adhesive tape (tape included in the package) can be used to mount the map. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.
The map consist of larger wooden panels: North America, South America, Europe and Asia (separate panels in the MEGA edition), Africa, Australia, Greenland and various smaller islands. Explorer edition also includes a Monuments and Attractions panel. Adventurer edition also includes a single layer Antarctica panel. It works as a precision-cut puzzle. Installation is very easy and takes about 2 hours.
- The 2 largest panels (Europe + Asia and North America) have got hanging nooks on the back side. Glue (construction adhesive type) or wall hooks / screws can be used in order to hang these larger panels. Positions of wall mounting points are highlighted in the included mounting instructions. Strong double-sided tape (included in the package) can also be used to non-permanently attach these panels to the wall. Included templates are used to position these panels correctly.
- The other wood panels, islands and other smaller pieces are lighter and an adhesive glue (i.e. a construction adhesive) or double sided-tape (thicker foam accrylic tape recommended) is used to attach these pieces to the wall.

Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.
