All map variations feature a precision laser-cut and hand-glued wood panels for an outstanding quality experience. Region borders, roads, names and cities are nicely engraved (where space permits). Regions are stained to 4 different colours with natural wood stains.
Map Installation
Wooden country maps come in one piece (editions larger than approx. 100 cm consist of one or more pieces). Glue (like a construction adhesive), strong double-sided adhesive tape (included in the package) or other mounting solution (like framing mounts, screws, etc.) can be used to install the map on a wall. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.

Delivery Instructions
Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.

We got the UK wodden map also with Ireland to have it "complete" + the extra landmarks piece and it looks stunning, level of detail is exceptional. It eas easy to put the map on the wall at home. Will get another one for the office! great job!

Thanks very much for your feedback. We always try to improve our products, so we have reworked the map completely (as all our 2D country maps) and from april 2022 we ship this updated edition. We now include mounting templates, the map can also be hung on the wall with the provided framing hardware on the back-side of the map. Regarding the names on the map, we just have to work around the physical limitations. Anyways, the cities have been updated and reworked, so that the map looks even nicer :)

I have been looking at wood maps for a long time. And this UK map is the most detailed one i've seen. It comes with some adhesive backs as well. Shipping was excellent and arrived in perfect condition!
