All map variations feature a precision laser-cut and hand-glued poplar wood panels for an outstanding quality experience. Region borders, names and cities are nicely engraved (where space permits). The whole map consists of wood panels that are glued together. Regions are stained to 5 different colours with natural wood stains.
Each map comes with instructions for an easy set-up. Glue, strong double-sided adhesive tape or other mounting solution is required. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.

Map Installation
Wooden country maps come in one piece (editions larger than approx. 100 cm consist of one or more pieces). Glue (like a construction adhesive), strong double-sided adhesive tape (included in the package) or other mounting solution (like framing mounts, screws, etc.) can be used to install the map on a wall. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.

Delivery Instructions
Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.

Nice. Weaker visible names of towns and villages. Probably would have been better to choose a different colour, especially on a dark background.
Pekná. Slabšie viditeľné názvy miest a dedín. Asi by bolo vhodnejšie zvoliť inú farbu, hlavne na tmavom podklade.

Purchased as a gift for my expat father who now lives in the US. The piece itself is about 1/4 inch/~6 mm thick, and came securely packaged. The natural colour of the wood stain makes it a great addition to most rooms, and is both functional and beautiful. I haven't gifted it to him yet, but I know my father will have stories to tell about SK every time he looks at it!
