Thermos Mountain - a light thermos for extreme conditions
Thermos Mountain FFX is a world leader in the field of outdoor thermoses. You won't find a thermos with better parameters currently available. The thermos is designed to meet all the requirements for a bottle in mountain environments: easy opening and closing, impact resistance, high insulation performance, low weight, and compactness (only 300x80 mm!).
Weight of the Thermos
The thermos is very lightweight. Its weight is comparable to thermoses made of titanium, which are much more expensive. Without the non-slip ring and bottom protection, it weighs only 360g.
High Insulation Performance
The thermos keeps drinks warm for a very long time - after 6 hours, the temperature of the drink is still above 80 °C (measurement conditions: initial drink temperature 95 °C, ambient temperature 20 °C). A specific feature is the narrow neck with a diameter of 36 mm and a special double lid.
Anti-slip Thermos Cap
The anti-slip thermos cap is made from two materials with different hardness to prevent slipping when opening the thermos. The wide base provides increased stability of the cap while also ensuring easy grip when taking the thermos out of the backpack. The cap's volume has been increased compared to the previous version of the Thermos Mountain.
Non-Slip Ring
Even with thick gloves, opening the thermos is easy. In case of a fall, the thermos also serves as protection.
Double Thermos Cap
The double cap was developed to make opening and closing the thermos easier. The inner part of the cap is equipped with a double thread with a larger pitch. Thanks to this solution, it is enough to loosen the inner part of the cap by only half a turn to pour (with standard caps, you need to turn the cap a full turn).
The cap also ensures a smooth flow of the beverage and is easy to maintain.
Protection of Thermos Bottom
The thermos is made of stainless steel. This type of thermos is often referred to as "unbreakable" thermos. However, it is clear that falling onto a rock is not good even for these "unbreakable" thermos. The silicone bottom protection cushions the impact when the thermos falls and protects the bottom from scratches.
