The MSR Hubba Hubba HD 3 (Heavy Duty) is a spacious and reliable freestanding 3-season tent for 3 people, emphasizing "Backpacking Comfort" – providing more thermal comfort, more storage space, and the rainfly positioned closer to the ground. The rectangular floor plan with a sleeping area of 4.35 m² and a height of 107 cm offers comfort even during longer stays in the tent, while two large side vestibules (totaling 1.58 m²) make it easier to store gear and move in and out through two separate entrances. Rain protection is ensured by a rainfly with a water column of 3,000 mm and a durable floor with 6,000 mm; ventilation and fine mesh panels help reduce condensation. Stability in worsening weather is supported by DAC NSL poles and guy lines, while the minimum weight remains only 2.2 kg.

The MSR Hubba Hubba HD 3 is a "Heavy Duty" version for those who want more comfort and assurance in weather conditions without carrying an unnecessarily heavy tent. Its foundation is a freestanding structure with DAC NSL poles (9.6/10.25 mm), which is quick to set up and provides high stability even in gusts of wind when combined with guy lines. The full-fledged rainfly with two StayDry™ entrances and an integrated gutter offers better protection in the rain, and improved ventilation openings along with fine micromesh panels help reduce condensation. Inside, you'll appreciate practical organization: a large ceiling pocket, an integrated drying line, and pockets with cable ports. The use of solution-dyed materials reduces environmental impact (lower water and energy consumption), while the groundsheet remains very durable with a 6,000 mm water column.
