All map variants have precision laser-cut and hand-glued panels for exceptional quality. Country borders, names and capitals are suitably printed (space permitting). The continents fit together perfectly for a stunning full-colour look.
LED backlighting
This creates a beautiful diffused lighting effect when the LED backlight is switched on. The dimensions shown are for a wooden world map and therefore the final installed dimensions are 3mm larger on each side.
The LED driver requires a mains socket. The main cable runs from South America or Antarctica (can be customized). A remote control for the LED lighting is included. You can also install a smartphone app to control the colour of the LEDs.

Easy installation, perfect result
Installation is quick and anyone can do it - the map is made up of larger panels that fold like a precision wooden jigsaw.

- Lightweight, durable and safe construction
The installation itself is a nice trip around the world :) Each map comes with instructions for easy installation. Different surfaces may require different mounting solutions.
- Use corner templates, a spirit level and painter's tape to measure the wall space needed to install the map.
- Each individual panel has pre-drilled holes for mounting metal stands.
- The metal stands need to be attached to the wall using the hardware appropriate for your wall type. The stand has a hole in the base through which you attach it to the wall. Then place each map piece on the mounted pedestals (2 or 3 pedestals for each map piece) and secure it with the threaded top cover.
- Install the Asia section using the corner template
- Install the Africa and South Asia parts using the cardboard templates.
- Install the North America part using the corner template.
- Then place Greenland and South America using the position templates.
- Install the Canary Islands and Australia + New Zealand parts, which are supplied separately.
- The cables for the LED lighting have connectors that need to be connected for each individual part.
- Attach the individual smaller islands to the plexiglass using the supplied double-sided tape.
- Install the remaining optional accessories such as compass, Antarctica, etc.
- Connect the LED controller to the map, plug in the mains adapter.

No Customs and Duty
Our maps are manufactured and shipped from within the European Union, so there are no customs charges to the EEA countries. There are also no customs charges for our wooden maps and decorations to: Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Delivery Instructions
Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.
