Thanks to the self-supporting construction, the tent is more resistant to weather conditions than classic structures. If necessary, the tent stands on its own without pegging or unpegging the additional cords, which can be appreciated, for example, when pitching in bad weather or on a hard rocky surface. The durable duralumin construction ensures excellent strength even with the light weight of the poles. Both the tropico and the floor are made of durable and lightweight polyester. The floor is connected to the bedroom, which is made of breathable mesh for the best possible breathability. The double shell construction, together with the vents, ensure excellent air circulation, limiting dew or shortness of breath inside the tent. The Rift 2 offers generous living space for two people to camp comfortably, including backpacks that can be stowed in one of the two vestibules. Setting up the tent is quick and easy, the bedroom is suspended from the duralumin structure and then just needs to be covered with a tropical canopy. Two apses lead out from the tropicle through two entrances. One can be used as an entrance and the other as a storage space or each person can have their own entrance and an apron. Inside the tent there is a loop for a lamp or internal pockets for small things. The tent is packed in a practical package for transport or storage and there is also a repair kit for the most necessary repairs in the field. The Rift 2 is a wise choice for a very durable tent that can playfully handle spring or autumn weather fluctuations.
