Light oak

Semi-matt finish with a fine wood grain. Light shade with dark, pronounced knots emerging from the fine grain.

Oak

Semi-matt with a fine embossed texture. Warm honey tone that turns more yellowish in direct sunlight. Fine black lines run through the grain. Our most popular choice - highly recommended as a gift.

Walnut

Semi-matt finish with textured surface. Deep brown tone, bland pattern including dark knots. The black laser-carved edge is less pronounced in this finish.

Black with patina

Matt and smooth surface with a finish reminiscent of brushed metal or anthracite. Well suited to darker interiors.

Lighting and power supply

Each product is equipped with an integrated LED backlight that produces a soft atmospheric glow. Lighting options include warm or cool white LEDs or multi-coloured RGB lighting that can be controlled via remote control. Many designs offer a dimming function to set the mood. All lighting systems are energy efficient and safe to use.

Battery powered

Removable powerbank (30,000 mAh), rechargeable via USB (≥ 2 A) directly in the luminaire or separately. Extra power banks can be purchased. Realistic illumination time depends on image size and brightness setting. Battery life approx. 72 hours at 50% brightness (110 × 50 cm image). The battery can also be charged in the luminaire (even when the luminaire is switched on). You can use a standard USB-C charger with a minimum charging current of 2A to charge the battery (takes up to 24 h). The battery is inserted from the side of the lamp. The battery can be easily slid out without dismantling the luminaire from the wall. It is not possible to order an additional LED strip for the luminaire with battery - the reason for this is the high consumption of the light source.

Connection with AC adapter

Fixed mains power supply (100-230V adapter) 12V/3A. 3m / 10ft white cable. The connector is built into the luminaire - so you can opt for this option at any time in the future. The disadvantage may be the visible white incoming cable. However, it is possible to hide the cable under the plaster.

Manual operation

Manual push-button dimmer on the side of the picture. We recommend this option if battery life is a priority.

Remote control

Optional IR remote control (stand-by possibly reduces battery life). If you later decide you don't need to operate the luminaire with the remote control, you have the option to turn the luminaire off with the switch on the battery.

Smart home

It is possible to control with a so-called smart home or to interface with ZIGBEE, Philips HUE or IKEA TRADFRI systems , but you need to purchase this controller to make this modification.

Additional lighting

You can buy powerful additional LED lighting for the luminaire, which is suitable for reading, for example. The additional lighting includes a touch controller, which is located on the side of the luminaire. The control of the additional lighting is independent of the backlighting of the picture and is separately dimmable.

Motion sensor

We can install a motion sensor in the picture. This will only light up the picture if you are present, saving energy.

Light source

Consumption of 1m LED strip: 4.8 W / 0.4 A. Energy class of the light source: F; electrical protection class: III; IP 20 (indoor, dry environment). The strips are equipped with San'an SQ (Super Quality) LED chips with a lifetime of 50,000h at full brightness. LED backlight warranty is 5 years. Detailed information about the light source can be found here. If the LED strip does get damaged, for example during handling or if you decide to go for a different shade of light, we will be happy to replace the LED strip for you or you can replace it yourself.

Materials

Each piece is made from high quality HDF board sourced from sustainably managed forests. The wooden panels are precision laser cut and then hand finished with great attention to detail. Standard depth approx 4cm - the image is slightly offset from the wall for a nicer spatial effect.

Support board

8 mm MDF made from pressed wood fibre, 87% renewable raw materials. Does not warp, does not fade, complies with EN 622 and FSC origin.

Back side

Open back side for wider light diffusion. Black cutting edge accentuates the contours of the motif and adds plasticity. Please allow for the fact that any unevenness of the wall may be visible through the cut-outs.

Installation

Two steel clips + 5 mm dowels are included. Two screws into the wall are sufficient for mounting. For a typical size of 110 × 50 cm, the weight is approx. 5.3 kg.

Other formats can be produced on request. It is possible to customize the motif or dimensions (delete/add elements, change size). Text engraving (dedication, motto) available as an additional paid service. LED strip and battery can be replaced at any time; spare parts (second battery, power supply, IR driver) can be found in the accessories.
